About Burrowkin

Burrowkin publishes care files for small and exotic pets. Rabbits come first, with guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, bearded dragons, geckos, snakes and tortoises planned.

What a care file is

Each file answers one keeper question in full, such as which vegetables a rabbit can eat and how much. The numbers that matter go in a vitals panel beside the text, so you can check them at a glance.

Who publishes it

Burrowkin is published by the Burrowkin Editorial Team. We are not a veterinary practice and our articles are not written by a veterinarian. They are researched from veterinary, university and welfare-charity sources, and each page links the sources it relied on. Where those sources disagree, the page shows each position.

What we will not do

• Give medication names or doses. Health pages cover how to recognize a problem and when to see a vet.
• Sell animals, recommend breeders or send readers to particular pet shops.
• Take payment for coverage. Nothing on the site is sponsored, and it carries no affiliate links.

The site shows labelled display ads from an ad network, which is how it pays for hosting. Advertisers do not see or influence what we write, and no ad is a recommendation.

Corrections and contact

If a page has a mistake, or a source has changed its advice, write to contact@burrowkin.com and we will check it and fix it. The policy for updates is on the editorial policy page.
